This week we have been learning about our picked saint and my saint that I picked is Saint Thomas Aquinas. We learnt this for our Religious Education this week. I enjoyed drawing my saint and writing the prayer. I found it tricky to draw my saint but I still loved drawing it. Next time I would do pencil before I coloured the picture in so it would be a bit neater. What is your favourite saint? These are the photos that I took of my work.
For this task we had to make a service poster on canva. We have just recently learnt how to make pictures and words animated. I enjoyed learning how to animate on canva. Next time I would change my them to something else. I found it tricky to click on the picture because there were pictures over top of them. Do you know how to animate on canva! I hope you like my service poster. We found out that it was better to add it as a gif. Service can come in in different forms but it is most commonly physically. Like someone taking something for someone.
This week we have been learning about faith. I enjoyed learning about faith because there is lots to learn about faith and it is really interesting. I found it tricky to get reasons to what faith means to me. Do you know what faith is? Next time I would probably change the bits of information about faith. I found it tricky to to find my own reasons about faith. Next time I would change the background and I would add some more pictures or different ones.
We have been learning about Covenants so that we can have a better understanding in God's covenants. If you didn't know what a covenant is, it is a sacred agreement with God. I can embed slides on my blog I can copy the link and past it on your blog.I liked our learning because it was fun learning about new things that we haven't learnt about. Last week we did a play about Sarah and Abraham my group interviewed Sarah and Abraham. Asher was the news reporter and I was Sarah and Jason was Abraham. This is the video that me and my group made I hope you like it. We were learning about Sarah and Abraham's life and there covenant with God. I found it challenging to upload the video onto my blog because I've never used wevideo before.
This week we have been learning about holy week and what order the stories go in. I hope you like my easter story.
To make the easter story we had firstly color in the pictures and match them with the readings. Secondly we had to cut them out and cut the readings out to. After that we got too plates that were different sizes and a big piece of paper and followed the lines around the plates. After we had drawn the lines we cut around the lines that we had drawn and it made a circle. When all of that was finished we got the glue and glued the pictures onto the round piece of paper and that is how you make an holy week reath. With the reath we made a flipgrid that explained what the order of the events that happened and when they happened. The flipgrid was fun because we could choose if we had sunglasses or if we had blue hair. But the coolest part was picking our frame. That's how you make a holy week reath.
We have been creating a collage with the pictures from making our hot cross buns. The cross on top of it resembles the cross that Jesus carried. The bread and the raisins resembles the body and blood of Jesus. There is also the spices and they resemble the spices that they put on Jesus.
